Chains move on their own schedule, not the firm's.
Conveyancing enquiries are often time-boxed by a chain that's already moving, so a slow first response can mean the instruction goes to whichever firm answered first.
Request demoWhat a missed enquiry costs here
Conveyancing has two different problems wearing the same coat. New instructions are quote-driven and go to whoever replies first, so a missed call is a lost fee outright. Existing matters generate a constant volume of chasing calls from clients, agents and the other side, and those calls land on the one conveyancer running the file. The second problem is what makes the first one worse: the phone is always busy because the phone is always busy.
What Cam asks first.
The capture model is the same for every firm. What changes by area is which answers are worth having before anybody rings back.
- Whether it is a purchase, sale, remortgage or transfer, and whether there is a chain.
- Whether a price has been agreed and whether a date is being worked to.
- Whether they are also instructing on a related transaction, since the two travel together.
- The best contact route, given how much of this work happens by email.
What actually changes for this practice area.
Not a different AI. The same Cam, working the front door and the fee-earner's own line, applied where it matters most for this kind of work.
01
Missed-call and web-chat capture, so a chain-related enquiry doesn't wait for someone to be free.
02
Best-email and callback-number confirmation, read back to the caller before anything is saved.
03
Configurable routing, so quote requests and existing-matter updates can be handled differently from new instructions.
04
Chain-chasing calls from clients and agents answered against the matter record, logged, and drafted back for approval rather than stacking up on one conveyancer's voicemail.
One call, start to finish.
01
The call
An estate agent rings for the third time this week chasing the same completion date, while your conveyancer is on the phone to a lender.
02
What Cam does
The number is recognised against the matter. Cam answers with the file already in front of him, logs what the agent needed, and says a member of the team will confirm rather than inventing a date. He does not commit to a completion date, because that is not his to give.
03
What you get
The chase is logged against the matter with a reply drafted for approval, and the conveyancer sees it as one line to confirm rather than as an interruption.
FAQ
Conveyancing questions
Will it quote a fee?
- No. Quoting is a commercial decision with a costs-information obligation attached, and it is not something to let an assistant improvise. Cam captures the details a quote needs and routes it, so the quote goes out fast and comes from you.
Can it give an agent a completion date?
- No. It can confirm what is on the record and log the chase, but it does not assert a date. Committing a firm to a date on a chain it cannot see is exactly the kind of confident wrong answer that costs a relationship.
Most of our chasing is by email, not phone. Does that help?
- Email enquiries land as the same enquiry record and can be drafted back for approval, so the fee-earner is approving a reply rather than composing one. The phone is one surface. The record underneath it is the point.
What WasilX doesn’t do here
WasilX doesn't quote fees or advise on a transaction. It captures the enquiry and routes it fast enough that the instruction has a chance of landing with the firm, not a competitor.
